| DO NOT PURCHASE THESE ITEMS if your printer is displaying a “printhead error”, something electrically, and/or mechanically has happened to the printhead. The printhead must be replaced. ONLY PURCHASE ONE OF THESE RE-PRIMING KITS if your print quality is poor (streaking, or missing colors). To determine if your printer uses Pigment or Dye ink. Click on each picture to see a complete list of printer models these kits support. The print quality issues you are experencing are caused by excessive air bubbles building up inside your cartridges and moving into your printheads. As the air volume increases inside the printhead, the ink is displaced. When ink no longer contacts the nozzle face of the printhead, ink can no longer be expelled from the printhead.
• For the cartridge pumps this excessive air causes the printer to give a false "out of ink" error. The solution...Get the air out! |
